Between the saltwater tidal flats of the Fraser River and the fragrant cedar groves of coastal British Columbia, Nana's Co. began as a return to patient, quiet craft. We believe daily skin cleansing should be a grounding sensory ritual, free from industrial haste, synthetic perfumes, and mass-market shortcuts.
Each batch is hand-blended using cold-pressed botanical oils and coastal plant extracts, poured gently into cedar molds, and allowed to rest undisturbed for six full weeks. This unhurried curing process preserves natural plant glycerin, producing a remarkably gentle bar that honors your skin's natural moisture balance.

Everything you need to know about caring for raw botanical bars, thoughtful shipping practices, and our small-batch standards.
Because cold-process soaps retain naturally occurring plant glycerin and zero synthetic hardeners, they need good airflow. Keep your bar on a well-draining soap dish or slatted wooden tray away from direct spray between uses to keep it firm and long-lasting.
Commercial soap bars often extract natural glycerin to resell in cosmetics, substituting chemical foaming detergents. We cure our bars patiently for six full weeks, preserving rich natural emollients, botanical lathers, and protective skin barriers.
Formulated with pure plant oils and botanical extracts without artificial preservatives, our bars remain gentle and cleansing indefinitely. We suggest enjoying them within 12 months for the freshest aromatic essential oil vibrancy.
Yes. We color our soap solely with French clays, botanical roots, and organic herbs, lightly scented with steam-distilled pure essential oils. For highly reactive or eczema-prone skin, we also offer an unscented, raw botanical formulation.
Every order is wrapped in 100% recyclable, plastic-free paper and dispatched from our studio within 1 to 2 business days. Standard Pacific Northwest and regional delivery typically arrives within 3 to 5 business days.
